An Experience in Synergy for Students and Faculty: The Eco League joint field courses provide a rich place based educational experience where students share diverse interests and take advantage of the expertise of professors from across the consortium. There is a sense of common purpose across the Eco League, and the joint field course lets you know that whatever corners of the country your college is in, there are other people, in other corners, who share your commitment and passion.
The Common Theme: Humans in Place: The general theme of all Eco league joint field courses, Humans in Place (with a different relevant focus from one year to another), gives students a chance to examine the relationship of people to social and natural communities in a bioregion from a variety of different perspectives.
