- The 85-acre Deane Nature Preserve is used for research, education and recreation.
- A campus farm, run by a student farm crew, features oxen, sheep, and chickens, and a market garden. The farm is part of a bigger local foods program, which strives to localize our ecological footprint by purchasing $60,000 annually in local foods.
- An adventure program sponsors outdoor excursions in the Green and Adirondack Mountains.
