- COA is the first college in the United States to become carbon neutral, off-setting all carbon emissions with the purchase of renewable energy credits.
- In Fall 2008, the Davis Residential Village will open on campus. This new cluster of student housing will be at the vanguard of sustainable, "green" building and will serve as a model to the community and to colleges across the country.
- Scholarship/Financial Assistance
- Around 70 percent of students receive aid from the College, in an average amount of $15,000, with a total average need- and merit-based package of $18,000.
