Frequently Asked Questions about the Eco League Experience
What programs of study are best supported by an Eco League exchange?
The Eco League exchange supports all programs of study: students get the benefit a tremendously rich array of educational resources while still enjoying a small school environment, tiny classes and hands on learning. Don’t limit your exchange to environmental studies! The Eco League offers great opportunities for students in the arts, psychology, education, business, and more.
Check each school’s catalogs and schedules by following the directions on the sheet “Navigating to Catalogs and Listings.” Cross league advising documents are being developed for various program areas.
Here is a page with advising documents for Visual and Performing Arts.

How does tuition work?
Students will continue to pay full-time tuition to their home institutions. Tuition must be paid in full at the home school in order for students to attend classes at the host school.
What about course/lab fees?
All lab fees for courses taken at another school are paid by the student directly to The Eco League school they are visiting. If a student pays a lab fee and then drops the course. The lab fee can only be returned if the slot is filled. Some of the schools charge other fees for activities or schoolwide sustainability programs. Check with Eco League Coordinator, Edie Dillon (edillon@prescott.edu) about the fees at the school you want to exchange to.
Who pays room and board?
Students will pay all room and board charges directly to the institution they are visiting. If their financial aid covers a portion of their room and board, the financial aid office may send a check to students for the requisite portion of room and board. You can get a list of room and board charges at each school from the Eco League coordinator (edillon@prescott.edu). Prescott College has very limited dorm space and students will need to arrange their own housing. Contact Edie Dillon (edillon@prescott.edu) for ideas on how to connect with roomates.
